RIO G4
The RIO G4 provides 4 outputs of DMX/RDM over a single PoE connection. It can easily be configured within Expert and is patched exactly the same way as the local DMX ports on Expert Control.
Adding RIO G4
The RIO G4 can be added by clicking
Add, selecting Devices and choosing RIO G4. Once added to the project, the RIO G4 can be selected in the Network tab of the Tools menu.
RIO G4 Properties
With a RIO G4 selected, the following options are available in the property editor:
Beacon – use to verify and identify a connected device.
Reload Firmware – allows you to reload the firmware matching the software you are using to the selected hardware device.
Configure – a window opens with the settings available for the RIO G4.

Network – configure the Network Settings with either a static or DHCP IP address.
Patching Fixtures to RIO G4
Fixtures can be patched to the outputs of a RIO G4 from the Patch tab in the Tools menu. Select the correct Device / Port / Protocol to see the universe corresponding to that port. For more information, see Working with Patch.
