Signing in#

Some or all of the features in this topic are enabled on a per-portal basis.

Pharos Cloud uses standard user account email and password as its primary authentication method. Users must be invited to Cloud to be able to create an account, see quick start for more information.

Two-factor authentication#

If your user account has two-factor authentication enabled, you will be prompted to provide a 2FA code after successful user authentication. Learn more about two-factor authentication.

Passkeys#

Passkeys are supported in compatible browsers to enable a trusted sign-in via biometric validation. Users are prompted to create a Passkey upon signing in. Learn more about Passkeys.

Microsoft SSO#

A portal can have support for Microsoft SSO enabled. If it is enabled, an option to sign in with a Microsoft account is shown. On selecting that option the user will be prompted to sign in to their account. If the email address used on the Microsoft account matches a user account in the portal, the user will be authenticated using that key.
